What is YATHRA?

Yathra is a unique youth leadership training program we run over 10-12 days of travel on bikes from one place to another with many activities like early morning meditations, birdwatching, or yoga. Then cycle for about 20km per day conducting public awareness on the way on climate change adaptation and mitigation and stay the night at a place where we run self-learning sessions. We train youth on topics such as sustainable living by saving energy, with zero waste and conscious consumerism with minimalistic lifestyle, home gardening and also, we train them with leadership skills. Once the 12 days is over, they have to go back to their villages and run some programs over two years using what they have learnt.
